With the noble intention of carrying the torch of learning to the people, particularly to those living in the rural areas and promoting higher education, the PMP educational and Charitable Trust was founded by the esteemed industrialist and Educationist Dheiva Thiru. P.M.Pichai chettiar in the year 1980. P.M.P. College of Arts and Science was established in 1999 at Thokkampatty village, for the upliftment of economically and educationally poor rural students of Dharmapuri district. For the 26 years, the college was able to scale greater and greater heights and raise to the present status by 11 UG Courses, 4 PG Courses and 1 Research Programme in promoting quality and excellence in higher education due to the sustained efforts and best leadership of our college Secretary Thiru.
